The U.S. Geological Survey points out, "The simple inescapable fact is that the world's supply of petroleum is finite and nonrenewable."
But until our nations natural gas and renewable sources begin filling enough of our energy needs, we will likely continue pouring oil on troubled waters. And since Americans use four times more crude every day than we can produce, the time to move away from carbon-based fuels in steadily approaching. With all the talk about how we need to balance the budget for our children and grandchildren, perhaps we might want to think about how they will run their cars, lights and TVs. If our legacy is massive debt along with imported and expensive energy, who knows what history will think of us.
Those of us at My Energy Synergy want to help you save money on your energy bills and be safe too. Think that the only cost of oil is the price you pay at the pump? Well, maybe not. Our country has to pay for protection of oil fields in the Mideast, medical expenses of respiratory diseases tied to breathing petroleum, tax credits to oil companies ($35 billion), environmental protection costs, just to name a few. And now the cost of oil is through the roof with the Gulf oil spill. The way of life of many Americans will be lost forever. Can’t put a price on that.
That’s why My Energy Synergy is pushing the solar products of Dynamo Weather Radio, EcoPower Solar Pull Light, Rechargeable Lanterns, and path lights that change colors. And you can plug into your car cigarette charger the amazing Spotlight 12 Volt Led light. Read about them in our product section and you will see why My Energy Synergy loves them.
For those in the US who think that more drilling for oil off our coasts will drop gas prices, they might want to think again. Experts recently testified that perhaps within 10 to 15 years, the price will decrease $.03 if we were to proceed at the same pace with drilling. And, what we don’t understand is that if the price went down significantly, it would still be polluting our skies and involves the same risk of accident on a deepwater rig. Why not try to look for more oil while at the same time spend money on research and development of new energy sources? How could this not be something that everyone in America is ready to do? My Energy Synergy is trying to help in our own small way. You can help too. Our products can help save your life and save our nation energy while saving you money. Give the Spotlight, the Dynamo Weather Radio, the EcoPower Solar Pull light, our solar Rechargeable Lantern and the EcoStrip power strip a try.

And it could save your life because it has built-in weather stations. Just hit a button and it finds the nearest one. How cool.
With the disaster in the Gulf and the ongoing energy crises we encounter, you'd think the US would maaaaybe try to expand the clean energy concepts we already have. But, NO, the politicians have been bought by some components of big oil, big business and so why should they change. Both sides of the aisle are guilty of taking big campaigns contributions from oil. Here's my question: do you think any person along the Gulf who has lost their way of life because of the oil spill will be compensated as much as the top echelon of BP?
